Word2002 from WorksSuite 2002

Every time I close MS Word 2002 I get an error message
that says Word has encountered a problem and must close,
and it gives me the option of recovering my work and
restarting the program or ignoring it and closing the
program. I have used the error reporting on the dialog box
to no avail... it is very frustrating. Anyone???? Please
help, I have had this problem for two years now.

For starters, go to Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs and uninstall the
Microsoft Works Suite Add-in for Word. Assuming you're running Word
freestanding (not starting it from the Works Task Launcher, you will never
miss the add-in, and you will avoid a lot of nasty problems that it causes.
