Word2003 can't open Word2000 file

I have a word2000 file that can open in other office2000 properly.

but when I open this file in office2003, it can't and I repair the file, it
show "data integrity error" something like that.

Now all word2003 can't open word2000 file, it need repair before open.

Any solution to solve this issue?

Word 2000 is more willing to tolerate damaged files than is Word 2003.
The best solution is to open the document in Word 2000 and use File >
Save As to save it in another format such as HTML or RTF. Then open
the resulting file in Word 2003 and save it as a Word document (.doc)
file.
