We recently switched from Office 2000 to Office 2003.
We have a network with Windows 2000 servers and XP
workstations.
Very frequently, word-documents stay locked.
It is not possible to open them, rename them, copy or
delete them. Even not by the administrator on the server
where the document is physicaly located.
After a reboot of the server, the documents can be
deleted.
Does anyone have any experience with this kind of problem?
Is it a word-problem, or a problem of xp-workstations in
combination with windows 2000 servers?
Please advise.
Regards
