I am using Office 2003 (word, outlook, ...) with an exchange 2003 server.
I try to use the "insert address" button in word to insert a contact from
outlook, I can choose the contact in "Contacts" in the "insert address" form
but when I click OK, nothing happens. If I choose a name from "Global Contact
List", this is working.
I also tried with the letter wizard: same issue.
Then I open a merge wizard, begin the procedure and once the list of
contact is populated from oultook, I go back to my first blank document and
tried again "insert address" then this is working and still working till the
"merge wizard" is open. When I closed the merge wizard, "insert address" is
not working again.
I have reinstall (after removing Program Files/Office and Regsitry 11.0) all
office (complete install) with word's address book. I still have the problem.
I guess this is a problem of how word is connection to outlook, I think that
the list of name is populated from a simpler address book and when word try
to get the full contact it fail the connection. I have no error message.
I also checked that Outlook is the contact manager in Internet Options.
For information, I do not use word as the default mail editor.
Does anyone have any idea.
Regards
