Word2007 don't let me to open office 2003 documents. What to do?

When i try to open older (office 2003) word documents, word gives me a
message: "Document $name not available". I use Office 2007 B2TR. When I used
Office 2007 Beta2 it worked properly...

WHAT TO DOOOO !!??!

Perhaps disabling the Norton anti-virus plug-in for Office is a solution--I
had to do this when updating Beta 2. In any event, I find that Office 2007
B2TR, which is supposed to be superior by far to Beta2, is actually much less
stable. My hunch is that MS felt an urgent need to release an update that
would work with Vista. But it's not ready for people like me who prefer to
wait a little before installing Vista. I have posted about my frustration in
a separate message.

Best wishes,
Catherine

So there is a Office Plugin within Norton that I need to disable? I looked in
the Office Add-ins and didnt see anything about Norton.
