Dr. Watson generates a long, detailed stack trace, but I
don't have the know-how to decipher it. The first thing
it generates is an exception: c0000005 (access violation),
which, I think, indicates a registry conflict, but I can't
say for sure.
This machine was running Win98 and my step-son's friend
upgraded it to Win2K, but the friend never checked for
virii first (there were many!) and I had to clean it and
re-install and somewhere in the re-install process, Word
ceased to launch.
Suggestions/clues/directions?
TIA!
