Hi, everyone...
By and large, your advice has been very helpful. In some cases, it was
just easier for me to go back to the source file and manually insert
things there which I couldn't get Word to do for me. But, just when I
thought I had it licked, I ran into another problem. I have an awful
headache right now, but I'll try my best to be coherent...
Is there any way I can for a STYLE onto a merge field? I know I can
apply formatting -- font type, bold, italics, etc. -- but can I actually
make it take on a STYLE?
I have this situation where, in some cases, there is data in a field
called ADDINFO. If there is data in that field, the field is printed at
the end of the list. If not, nothing is printed. But the problem that
occurs is, in the instances when nothing is printed, the last line of
the section above takes on the STYLE of the line that would have been
printed, so I have to go through each entry in the post-merge document
and manually reset the style for that line.
Any suggestions?
