Word97 auto-formatting text when i copy & paste

i have a doc that has two logos and a text box, and
whenever i copy and paste the text from one doc into the
text box of this logo document, Word always changes some
of the lines of text just pasted in. for instance some
lines will be arial 28 when the original line was times
new roman 12, and other lines will be bolded or italic
when the original line is not. is there a setting in
Word97 that won't change the copied text?

nevermind, i figged it out. each paragraph in the original
doc was a diff. body style, so the first paragraph would
be 'body text' and the next paragraph would be 'heading
1', etc. i changed all paragraphs to the same body style.
