I have around 200 documents created in Word97 and using Wordart 97 to make a
vertical box, like a rotated headline down the side of the page. The text is
very simple, no odd colours, bends, fill etc - just plain bold text in black
and emboldened - it says things like "BOOKING FORM" and "MAY 2007 COURSES".
We recently upgraded to Office 2003 and now when I click on the Wordart I
get an error message "The server application, source file or item cannot be
found. Make sure that the application is properly installed, and that it has
not been deleted, moved or renamed." Right clicking on the object offers
Microsoft Wordart 3.2 Object - Convert. Trying that gives the same error
message.
Wordart 2003 is installed as I can recreate the objects, but I'd much rather
just be able to edit them with Wordart 2003, rather than have to create, cut
and past and re-edit the 200 documents.
Has anyone got a workaround, or know what I'm doing wrong?
