WordArt and ClipArt Problems

When I try to insert WordArt or ClipArt into word 2002, all I see are the
boundries of the picture or the wordart. Everything works in the other
programs (Excel, Powerpoint, etc) Any help would be appreciated.

Clear the check box for "Picture placeholders" on the View tab of Tools |
Options.

One of the first things I checked. It is cleared and we still get the same
problem.
