WordArt Character Height

It appears that WordArt automatically adjusts the character height of words
based on the length of the word created in WordArt. This makes creating
separate words that have uniform character heights difficult. I often find
myself adjusting longer words to increase the word height and adjusting
shorter words to reduce the word height.

This is only a problem when I need to create separate words, or separate
groups of words in WordArt to meet design needs such as placing text on
different sides of a graphic object.

Is there a simple way to ensure that all text created in WordArt has the
same character height - not the same height of individual letters you would
get with the "same letter height" tool - but the same relative text height,
allowing for the differences due to capitalization or normal positioning of
each character.

If you want to have that much control over the appearance of your fonts, I
recommend using a graphics program ie. Photoshop for Kerning and Leading of
your text, then save the image as a PNG (with transparency) and insert it
onto your slide.
Hope this helps!!!

Thanks John, great suggestion. I use paintshop - but I have not done much
with it, so I have a lot to learn. I guess it is back to the manual and
tutorials!
