Wordart missing colours

Hi, I have a weird problem with wordart.
My son is trying to write some homework in wordart but when displayed on
screen the fill colour is not seen. In web view the colour is there and if I
email the file to my own XP account I can see the colours; they just don't
appear on my sons display.

I suspect there is some setting/option he has fiddled with but I can't for
the life of me see what it would be!!!!!

In Windows, click on Start | Control Panel | Accessibility Options |
Display tab | uncheck the "Use high contrast" box | OK.
