wordart text only shows in black and white - why?

I can't get any colour in my wordart text. I've been through format wordart,
and checked the colurs and lines tab to make sure it is filled with a colur,
but I only get black and white images. It's the same when i try to insert it
in powerpoint. Any ideas why and how to get the colour back? Thanks

In Windows Control Panel | Accessibility Options, look for the "High
Contrast" check box and clear it.
