Word's document recovery should just ask if you want to merge rec.

It is EXCESSIVELY frustrating to loose documents after MICROSOFT Windows
freezes up on you and Word doesn't have a logical enough way to save the
recovered documents that it so nicely saves.

So you are saying opening them from the Document Recovery pane and
saving them isn't logical??
