Work/Actual Work Problem

I have a couple of schedules which are giving me problems when entering more
scheduled work. They also will add actual work on the same day that I have
entered scheduled work. This appears to happen only in the current week,
even if that day has not been reached. Any ideas why this may be happening?
We use MS Project Server 2003. Thanks for your help.

Gary,
That is correct. I am adjusting the remaining work by adding underestimated
work. I was very careful in that I added work and not actual work. Thanks
for your help!

The type of task being adjusted might be important. Fixed Duration? Fixed
Work? Fixed Units? Also, are you adujusting RW in PWA Task sheets, or
Professional?
