I have OneNote at work and at home, and I use them both for a multitude of
things.

Is it possible to somehow syncronize or save my work one and take it home
and vice versa?

Yes. FAQ 3.02 explains in more detail:

It is probably easiest if you have a flash drive of some kind, but there
are other options.

I'm having pretty good luck with BeInSync synchronization software. With both
computers turned on and connected to the internet, BeInSync just quietly
syncs the notebooks. Another package, recently acquired by MS, is Groove, but
it gave me nothing but headaches.
