work around max records

Hi,

I was wondering if there was a work around the 4000 records limitation in
access. I am creating magnetic susceptibily charts for drillhole and so far
I have a few hole with more than 4000 records (max is 11977 records).

My chart works but it just shows the first 4000 records for the hole.

Is there a way to embed an excel spreadsheet in access or just link it?

What 4000 record limitation in Access? I have tables with 100,000 + rows
and I've heard of million-row tables.

My guess is that it's a limit in Windows Graph, the utility that generates the
charts.

Is there a way to embed an excel spreadsheet in access or just link it?

You can link Excel charts to Access tables, or Access frontends to Excel
spreadsheets. I'd suggest storing the data in Access and using Excel to
generate the charts, it's got a lot more graphics tools.
