% work complete vs % complete

My resources are updating % work complete in PWA. I've noticed that after
accepting the changes, the % work complete in Project Plan remains at 0%, yet
if I look at the project in PWA, the % work complete is correct. Why doesn't
the Project Plan get updated? I've looked through all the posts and the
common thread I see is making sure I have "Updating Task Status Updates
Resource Status" checked off, which I have done. It's almost like PWA is ok
but Project Plan doesn't want to reflect the changes made. Why would that be?

Thanks but I've been through this already. This check box was already a
default from the beginning of the project. It's always been checked. I
don't understand how the changes to % work complete from web access remain in
web access, even after I've published from the project plan, yet the % work
complete does not show up in project plan. This is getting really
frustrating.

Please ask your Project Server administrator to determine is there are
errors in the server's application error log and then report your findings
in this group as a separate post if there are errors. Let us know.
