% Work Completed not calculating on server for specific task

Hi, I have a question regarding % of work completed amounts for one specific
task not updating on the server view for the person that is entering time for
that task. The person is entering their time for the task and then I am
approving it on the server, it appears correct on the plan itself, but the
person says that in their tasks view the amount does not change when I update
it. Why would this be? I haven't had this problem with any other tasks?

I tried to republish the task and at first it didn't change, the % stayed at
63% when it should be 50%. Then a week later the person said it still hadn't
changed, so I tried repulbishing that task again and it went down to 62% in
that user's view, yet on my end, it said 50%! I'm totally baffled? I was
expecting it to not change again, why would it go down 1%? Thanks.

Try a Publish All Information instead of republish.

Are you using Managed Time Sheet periods?
Any chance that the project with this task is out of sync with protected
actuals?

Also, take a look at work and actual work for that task in PWA, and see
if this calculates to 62%. Also compare this with your project plan.
