Work Offline help needed

Hi, MSPS 2007 SP1, Infrastructure Update and October 08 patches
Our project managers need the ability to work offline from their laptops. I
have followed the training steps and the book steps to accomplish this, but
the projects are always only available read only when offline. They are
read/write when connected. Help?

Steps followed:
1. Start Project Pro
2. In login box click Work Offline
3. On the File Menu, click Open
4. Enterprise Projects is highlighted
5. Click on project needed
(at this point down at the bottom of the box it goes from read/write to read
only)

I must be missing a step.

Why don't you tell us the steps that you are using to take the project into
Offline mode? I'm looking for the steps that you do while still connected
to the network, but preparing to take a project with you to work with it in
Offline mode. It would help if we knew those steps, too. Let us know.

Thanks for the inquiry...

I was so stumped because of what I was reading I think I was forgetting to
think logically how this should work.

So I went back and tried it logically instead of trying to understand what
the different authors were saying and it worked fine.

Sorry to bring such a silly question here, but I so appreciate you giving my
brain a kick start.
