Work vs. Actual Work by months

I'm working with MSP2003 Standard. I would like to generate a report that
specifies Work vs. Actual Work per assignment. Now, that is not that
complicated. The thing is that I would like to separate the data by month
(Jan, Feb, etc.). Is it possible?

Just to be clear - I don't what to use the Resouce Usage sheet, but to create
an external report, let's say in Excel.

Yoav,

Have you looked at the "Analyze Timescaled Data in Excel" wizard?
Show either the task usage or resource usage view, run the Wizard (on
the Analysis toolbar). You can select both work and Actual Work as
well as show the information by month. It exports to Excel.
