workaround for moving folders?

Online help says, in topic 'Move a folder':

"You cannot move a server folder to a local folder, or a local folder to
a server folder."


I assume this means that folder structures in IMAP or Exchange accounts
cannot be simply moved into On My Computer/In Box.

I did a search on "entourage folder" in the MacScripter site, but didn't
find anything that might help.

Is it possible that my user actually has to manually recreate all his
folders and subfolders and then move the items into them?

Hi ,

You can create a folders manully and move messages ,But it would create a
copy there ,So once you move the message you need to manually delete from
the location (folder) you have moved the same
