I have put more detailed comments in reply to another thread, but that may be
missed, so here is an immediate solution to those having problems with saving
in Photodraw when Office 2007 is loaded - a bit clumsy, but it works.
1. Use the 'save as' command , and chose 'tiff' as the format. Photodraw
WILL save in this format (at least it does on the three different computers I
have tried this on, with Office 2007 Beta 2 Technical Refresh loaded).
2. Open the .tiff in a program that will open tiff files and save in, say,
jpeg. I use Paint Shop Pro - or use the batch conversion abilities of such a
program to convert a number of images into jpeg all at once, or
3. Use a stand alone graphics batch convert program to convert (such as
Solid Converter GX, or Graphics Converter Pro) which handles tiffs.
The resulting image is identical to that that would have been saved by
PhotoDraw in, say, jpeg format before you loaded Office 2007 (I have tested
this)! Hope this helps all with this infuriating problem.
