Workflow process for Proposals in PS 2007

Has anyone any information about how this works? Do I need Office Sharepoint
Server? Is there some option to set up approvers of proposals? There is a
new 'Proposal Approvers' group. Hmmmm....

A link to some documentation on this would be very welcome...

Thanks, it's what I thought, but there is indication that this is installed

Hi Gary,

I know you said it here, and I've read it in your book (pg 33 - EPM Platform
Overview), but want to make sure. Do you need MOSS installed in order to
enable the Proposal notification feature? WSS won't cut it... is this
correct?

I ask because we have MOSS installed, but we still don't have notification
of proposals working. Any suggestions or ideas?

What I have heard was that people have seen it work within MSP VM
environment. Others, like Mike (see immediately below, state there are
unresolved issues). Do you have any info on this?

The only place I have seen this working is in the EPM VM environment
distributed by Microsoft. I have built a number of environments where
normal MOSS worklows work fine but not proposals and without any
apparent error diagnostics. I note also that responses to Brian Smiths
blog on this topic flagged a similar problem. I found this article
which suggests there are issues but was not generally helpful

You don't need MOSS for this to work. Other than that, I suggest that you
start a new thread and describe your setup and patch levels. I would
certainly want my system patched with all current updates.
