I used these instructions to secure a

I had another unsecured database which it says to use
\wrkgrp ... in the shortcut. Both work fine. However I can
open the secured database with \wrkgrp in the shortcut.
How is this?

Hi Martin

It means you have not secured the database correctly. Recheck all the steps
listed in the FAQ. It is most important that you remove all permissions for
the user Admin and the group Users, as these are the same in every workgroup
file.

Also, I suggest that you use the workgroup administrator to rejoin the
default workgroup, and then create a shortcut for your secured database
(rather than the other way around).
