Workgroup Templates location WEB

We have many systems that are running remote and not on our VPN. Is there a
way to point their template directory to a web site to store shared
templates? If not what is the best way to do this?

Not really, I know how to set the Workgroup Template location. What I need to

You might try one of the other Office News Groups to see if some one can you
specifics on how to do it...

I use web authoring software to setup a file sharing website when I want to
share files...

Short answer: can't be done.

Longer answer: Avoid putting templates on any kind of network resource
anyway. Always distribute templates to individual local hard drives.
