working in word

I was working in word, using a calendar template, also had pulled up a new
worksheet, typing info on what was on calendar, had to leave for a little
while, came back program had stopped; computer had started to restart.

Is there anyway to retrieve this info?

Probably not. You can try using Start > Search to look for files that
contain words you know are in the document. You might find files with
extensions of .doc, .tmp, or .wbk that contain some or all of the
document -- but you probably won't find anything usable.

To prevent problems like this in the future, get into the habit of
hitting Ctrl+S every time you stop to think, and certainly before you
walk away from the computer.
