working with bullets (in a table)

Jason

Hi there. I'm not really sure how to word this question: Is it possible
to have two sets of bullets in the same line? Kind of like having a
second level of bullets, only having the first line of the second set
start on the first line also.

I am working with bullets in my resume, and of course space is of a
premium so I can cram as much as possible in.

I'm trying to get something like this: (I'll just use * as bullets)

*activities: *youth mentor

instead of:

*activities:
*youth mentor

The list would keep going of course, and I've tried to not use bullets,
but then I can't get things to line up straight.

Oh, and to make things better, this is all happening within a table.

THANKS SO MUCH!

Hello Jason,

Use the bullet character, which is keyed via Option-8. In a table, hold
down the Option key before hitting the Tab key. Set precise positions for
the tab stops; don't use the default values.

Good ransom-note typography, I see! ;-)

re-visiting the newsgroup for several days after the first response comes

is proposed; sometimes you'll be asked for further information so that a
better answer can be provided. Good tips about getting the best out of
posting are at http://word.mvps.org/FindHelp/Posting.htm (if you use Safari
you may see a blank page and have to hit the circular arrow icon -- "Reload

Yes, it is. But you have to use Insert>Symbol to put them in. You will
also need Tabs to line them up with. And you "may" need to read the Help to
see how to put a tab inside a table :)

Cheers
