I'm using Entourage 2004.
Rather than creating individual contacts, I tend to use 'family' or
'couple' contacts (e.g., a single entry for my brother and his wife,
rather than one entry for my brother, one for his wife).
Here's my problem: If I put both their names in the first name field,
then both of their names show up as the display name. This is fine for
their personal email account, but if I want to send them an email at
work, it's displaying both of their names as the display name, and this
feels a little ... odd.
Is there a way to force the display name for a particular email
address? I thought I might be able to do it by entering the following
into the email address field:
"Mary Smith" <[email protected]>
But that just errors out OR sends a message to:
Mary and Bob Smith "Mary Smith" <[email protected]> (which then
reverts to Mary and Bob Smith when the message is sent).
Thanks for any suggestions!
