working with Word

I know you insert pictures, but what about this.. Perhaps
GIFS???

I've tried inserting .gif into Word, but the picture
doesn't animate and I have to save it as .html format. Is
there any way I can or an option so I can insert
animation into Word without saving it as html format?

No. Word doesn't support animated GIFs except in HTML documents.

And if you click on "File > Web Preview", a HTML file will be temporarily
created, and the animations will work.
