Works 2000 will not update

I had Microsoft Works 2000 on my computer then added Microsoft Office 2003. I
could not update anything so I took Microsoft Office 2003 off and I still
cannot update my Microsoft Works 2000 program.

This is a Office Update newsgroup. Works newsgroup for Windows is
microsoft.public.works.win. You are using a web interface. You will get
better results is you used a news reader such as Outlook Express to connect
directly to msnews.microsoft.com. You will find a list of Microsoft public
newsgroups and assistance is configuring Outlook Express here:

You did not say where you were trying to update. If you are using Works
Suite, the Word 2000 program will only update here:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/officeupdate/default.aspx

Office 2003 should update either at the above site or at the Microsoft
Update Site used for Windows XP updates.

You need to provide more information on where you tried to update, what you
were trying to update and what happened {error messages etc} other than it
did not work.
