works 2001

Its as though I'm going in circles trying to find
this "PID number in order to register my product, The
instructions are telling me one thing, however, doing
that "one" thing has me tearing my hair out.

Can anyone tell me how to locate this PID number for
works 2001. The instructions reads to select "help" and
thing choose "about this product". Well, there is no
HELP, and there is no ABOUT THIS PRODUCT.

Open any Works application - select Help->then read the PID from the
displayed window. Where did you think it would appear?

Open the Works Task Launcher and Click Help | About Microsoft Works then you
will find the PID
