Works Database

I have several databases that I created with my old
computer that had Works and now my new computer has
office and I can't convert them. I no longer have the
software/computer to save them in another software
format. What can I do?

I can't be 100% sure, but I think you're out of luck as far as built-in
Office capabilities. Word appears to be able to handle Words wordprocessing
files, but, in my experience neither Excel nor Access appear to be able to
handle Works' spreadsheets and database files. There are some non-Microsoft
document conversion products out there that claim to be able to handle just
about anything (not sure about this one, though). Alternatively, consultants
and conversion houses abound...

Good luck.

You could try Works ng for help; ms.public.works.win
Excel can import a works spreadsheet, last time I did this it was read only
however
