Works in '97 only

The DB was created in Access 97. There is a query that
looks at the information on an opened form
and from there generates a report of that form. The query
works just fine in Access 97. In Access 2000 & 2002
it gets all the information on the form except a date
field, which it leaves blank. Any ideas?

Thanks for your help!

This appears to be the very common References bug. Open any
module in design view, or open the VBA editor by typing
Ctrl-G. Select Tools... References from the menu. One of the
..DLL files required by Access will probably be marked
MISSING. Uncheck it, recheck it, close and open Access.

If none are MISSING, check any reference; close and open
Access; then uncheck it again. This will force Access to
relink the libraries.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll try it. Actually I got
around the problem by formatting the date in the query to
mm/dd/yy, and now it works in all the Access versions.
