worksheet cells fill with color after typing

Betsy

I have a worksheet and I am only supposed to type data in un-filled (white)
cells. Other cells that are filled with light blue color are to be left
blank.

When I type in some of the un-filled cells and advance to the next cell for
typing, the first one I typed in turns light blue! There is no conditional
formatting in the cell.

What could be causing some of these cells to fill with light blue color
after typing in them???

Perhaps an Event Macro. Right-click the tab name at the bottom of the excel
window and select View Code.

Possibly Tools>Options>Edit "Extend data range formulas and formats"

Uncheck that.

Or, to follow the event code idea.........right-click on the Excel Icon left of
"File" and select "View Code>

Anything there like.............................

Private Sub Workbook_SheetChange(ByVal Sh As Object, ByVal Target As Range)
some code here
End Sub
