Worksheet filters

Hi,
I would like to maintain a master worksheet. The other worksheets will be subsets of this master based on the field "location type" for example. I want to edit only the master worksheet and the other worksheets which are subsets of this sheet must get updated automatically.

Couuld u please help with some suggestions to do this?
