How do you change the tab color of a worksheet?
Hi,
I'd love to tell you how to do this, but unfortunately it can't be done
in current versions of Microsoft Excel on the Mac.
Although colored sheet tabs can not be created or displayed in Mac
Excel, if they are created in Windows Excel they will be retained.
You can start with a blank workbook in Windows, save it as a template,
then put the template into the My Templates folder on your Mac. You can
use the template to create new workbooks that have colored sheet tabs
(you won't see the colors - only Windows users will).
Let Microsoft's Mac Business Unit know you'd like to see this feature in
Mac Excel by using Help > Send feedback to Microsoft. You don't have to
write a long request. Just say something like, "Color sheet tabs,
please." Your feedback will be read by a product manager at Microsoft.
Thanks.
