Worksheet menu bar Disappears?

Has anyone had this problem The Worksheet menu bar
dissapears. This is the menu that has file, edit, view,
insert etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Casey,

Go to the View menu, choose Toolbar, then Customize. There,
choose the Toolbars tab, and put a check next to "Worksheet Menu
Bar".

The worksheet menu bar normally disappears when a chart is selected,
replaced by the chart menu bar. The chart menu bar should have file,
edit, etc.

If you didn't just select a chart, I defer to Chip's vast wisdom.

Good point. I didn't think about the possibility that she might
have a chart sheet selected. I guess that makes the wisdom of my
previous reply just half-vast.

Difficult without the menubar<g>

Good point. Right-click on a blank area on a toolbar to get the
menu, then choose Customize.

The fact that Cindy didn't see File, Edit, Insert, etc., indicates
something else is going on. We'll have to wait for her to enlighten us.
