I can no long access the workspace background menu or master pages tabs that used to appear at the bottom of the Word document. Can some tell me how to get these back?
I think they only appear in Publishing Layout view (though I don't see a
Master Pages tab anywhere--what does that look like?). Are you in
Publishing Layout view? Notebook Layout also has a workspace menu, but
I think Master Pages are a PL thing.
If you are in PL view, then go to Word | Preferences | View and make
sure "status bar" is checked.
Checking the status bar alone did not produce the all contents and master pages tabs. It was only when I checked the status bar AND horizontal scroll bar, that I once again had those tabs visible.
