Workspace Permissions Problem

Hi ,

I have a RBS like
EXEC->PORTMNGR->PROJMNGR->TEAMMEMBER
And as per my requirements in MY ORGANIZATION category i selected
.. only projects indicated and the dynamic rule of
"the project owner is descendant of user via RBS."

i have created a new project and published and when i am logging in with
executive credentials i am not able to access the project workspace of my
project.

can any one help me ...?

1) Is the executive you referred to set at the RBS value of EXEC?
2) Are you as the administrator and project owner set in the RBS at one of
the following values: PORTMNGR->PROJMNGR->TEAMMEMBER?
3) Have you made sure that the "View Project Workspace" category permission
is enabled for the "Executive" group on "My Organization" category?
Assuming your executive is part of the "Executive" group here.

FYI, traditionally "My Organization" category rules should remain as "All
current and future projects in Project Server database & "All current and
future resources in the Project Server database". If you want to mess with
the rules, it might be better to create new categories and name them
descriptive enough so that you know what project and resources they should
have access to.
