Workspaces won't download to one of my PCs

I am running Groove 3.1 on two of my personal PCs. When I installed Groove
2007 Beta onto a third PC (all the same account) - the account installed OK,
but none of the workspaces will download. The Messaging function works fine
and I can see who is online and in the workspaces, but when I open any of the
workspaces it says they are not on this computer.

When I say the workspaces won't download - I can actually see the tool tabs
in the workspaces, but the tools and data themselves don't seem to want to
download.

I did just read something at the old Groove site (referred to in another
thread) written before 2007 was around, saying you have to have the same
version of Groove on all machines whcih will have the same account. Now,
this was referring to 3.X vs 2.X - but I wonder if it is also true for 3.x vs
2007...

Hi Fred,

Based on my experience, we must have the same version of Groove on all
machines for the same account. Otherwise, the workspaces will not be synced.

Please upgrade or downgrade the Groove program to keep they are in the same
version. I thinke this issue will be resolved.

I am having the same problem of having a workspace not download. I *am*
running the same version (3.1) on both computers. When I try to download, it
says "downloading" but with no other indication (it does not, for example,
give a progress indicator, "1% downloaded", which I would expect.) I left it
on overnight, with no development. What's worse, this morning, my primary
computer is now said to be out of sync, and I was told to delete the account
and re-login. (Strangely, my accounts preference does list the other
computer as "ready"). Having done so, I am now trying to download the
workspace (from another person's computer) and encountering the same
difficulty. I find it hard to believe that it should take so long to
download (with no progress indicator) and am inclined to believe something is
wrong. Incidentally, after re-login, my primary computer is now "ready" and
my secondary computer is now out of sync, and I was told to remove it, which
I did.

Thanks for any help.
