World Lingo

I would like to have World Lingo as an option for my translation questions
which is only offered in Word 2002. I have Word 2003 installed now. What
are the pros and cons of uninstalling 2003 for 2002 so I can use this feature?
Is there a better English/swedish translation feature that I am not seeing.
word 2003 has every other language translation but Swedish.

WordLingo is accessible from Word 2003 also, though Swedish is not one of
the standard languages.
Computer translations tend to produyce gibberish. the only safe solution is
a translation by someone who understands both languages.

If i down loaded Word 2002 I could at least have a faster access to World
Lingo because they include it on the Research bar. Then I could place the
word (which is only what I need) to be translated into the appropriate space.
The swedish tranlation is offered once you go to the site. Is it
unproductive to install 2002 and uninstall 2003. Do you think they'll
include a more direct access to translation in Word 2007?

In Word 2003 Word Lingo is accessible via the right click > translate and
also from the Research toolbar. I don't remember Word 2002 offering any
better function?

Hi Kristine,

In Word 2007 I'm showing over a dozen WorldLingo choices for to/from Swedish translations via the Research pane that send you to the
website (online translation), although I ended up on an error page for Swedish when trying it in Word 2007 just now.

In the app translations are still pretty much the same, use the installed dictionary apps when available.
