Would someone review my site and help?

I have my business web page with 1and1. I used the dynamic web site creator
(1and1’s own web site creator) to create the site. Problem is, I’d like more
control over the pages. I believe the pages are flash based & I have no way
to edit them other than the basic utilities offered by the 1and1 software. I
have FrontPage extensions enabled & own an old version of FrontPage 2000. I
cannot edit the site via my version of FrontPage.

I visited MS FrontPage web site and they say that flash is supported in FP
2003. I’m not sure if this means I could use it to edit my existing site and
to what degree. I'm ready to buy it if it's what I need.

Could someone knowledgeable, visit my site and advise me on whether FP 2003
will allow me to keep the existing format & pages, yet offer more editing
options? I’d like to make our logo (top left) larger and add a photo gallery
with thumbnail images and a brief description. Upon clicking on the
thumbnail, a larger image shows up with more detailed info.

I’d really appreciate any assistance!

You would have to either continue using the interface provided by 1 and 1 or start over and create
your site directly in FP.

FP2000 will work just fine, but FP2003 has additional features that you may find useful.

it's most likely not the flash that's making it uneditable, it's probably
the sitebuilder technology. although you can't edit flash in FrontPage you
can edit the page the flash is put into.

My suggestion would be to go to a place like www.classythemes.com,
www.pixelmill.com, or www.templatemonster.com and find a FrontPage template
you like, buy it, arrange the navigation you want, and put your content into
the page. then you'll have something you can totally control.

there's really no easier way to get started with FrontPage and have a nicely
designed site right from the start.
