Wrap Text in a circle - Possible?

J

Jens

In Word 2003, I would like to make a button and so want the text to wrap in a
circle around a central image. Can Word do this or does anyone know of a plug
in that would make this happen? Thanks!!

Hi Jens,

You could use WordArt to create a circular text object with a transparent background, then position that over your image. You may
also need to set the WordArt object's properties to 'in front of text', square, or 'tight' to get the effect you're after.

Hi;

Word does not have a simple method of wrapping text inside an object as -
filling text inside an circle - QuarkXpress application program does. You can
perform similar function in Word, but it would be time consuming and very
limited with respect of reusability - To perform any last minute changes
would require lot of trial and error method.

Hi challa prabhu,

Using WordArt for this is actually quite easy. Not as automated as simply clicking a button as the OP asked, but hardly difficult
either.
