I've read many articles here that mention how wrap text
won't work after manually resizing a row. Many suggest to
re-autofit the row to force wrap text to continue. I have
two cells, in two consecutive rows, both labeled "Patient
Safety Video." The user manually resized the rows for
both. Now the top one only displays "Patient Safety"
with "Video" wrapped below the cell border. The bottom
cell only displays "Video" with "Patient Safety" wrapped
above the top cell border.
When I try to autofit either of these rows, nothing
happens. I've tried autofitting all the rows in the
worksheet and they all autofit EXCEPT these two. If I
manually resize both and try to autofit, they go back to
displaying "Patient Safety" and "Video" respectively.
I manually resized other rows in the worksheet, used
autofit, and the text wrapped properly. I moved the
troublesome cells to different rows with the same results.
I moved them to another worksheet and it worked fine.
I cleared the formatting of those cells, reapplied the
wrap text, and autofit worked fine.
I noticed the "Patient Safety Video" entry in the second
row was entered using AutoComplete. I thought that may
have had something to do with it, but when I tried to
recreate the issue, the text was still wrapping properly.
Anyone have any ideas what may have caused this?
