wrapping text in calendar view

When I bring up the 'bar styles' dialogue for the calendar view, sometimes
the check box for "WRAP TEXT IN BARS" is unavailable, other times it is
selectable...

1) what determines when the check box is selectable?

2) In the cases where I DID select WRAP TEXT IN BARS, it didnt wrap the line
anyways... can you tell me why? The text is just truncated in the calendar
view

Hi Joel,

Wrap text in bars options is disabled for the following Task Types in
the list:

Summary
Project Summary Tasks

The Bar type for both those tasks is "line", so there is no "bar" to
wrap the text in. If you select another Task Type and set the bar type
to line, the option to Wrap text in bars becomes unavailable as well.

To your second question, the length of the bar in the Calendar view is
dictated by the duration of the task. A short duration (milestone for
example) task with a long name will not wrap.
