wrong address in delivery receipt

On a New Mail Message, under Options, I select "Request a delivery receipt
for this message".
The email is sent, when the receipt is received back, in the "From" column
the same Email address is always listed. This address is from the first email
I sent requesting a receipt? Our system administrator suggested shuting down
Outlook every night. Sometimes this works, but eventually the same address
comes back? How do I clean out or delete this address.

We are using: Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 (11.8118.8132) SP2

Thanks for responding. Yes, we are using Exchange Server 2003 with Outlook
2003
