Wrong field has yellow background in FrontPage 2003 form

I have created my first FrontPage form where some form fields are validated
and require a value and some are not.
The validation works correctly, but one non-validated, ie optional, field
has a yellow background - which I assume signifies a mandatory field - and
one mandatory field has a white background. I tried turning on validation
for all the form fields but the yellow backgrounds only stayed on the fields
that are there now. I've reset it to the correct fields.
The relevant page is http://www.wilcomservices.co.uk/contact.htm - I've put
an asterisk against the mandatory fields on the form so it's easy to see
which is supposed to be which.
I think I've seen this "effect" on forms on websites in the past and
wondered why in passing, but now it's happened to me and I'd love to know the
answer!
Guess there's two parts to the question - 1) where does the yellow bacground
shading come from, and 2) if I'm correct and it's linked to the validation,
why doesn't it appear on all validated fields?

The field is yellow because you have the Google Toolbar installed, this is not a FP issue.

I would never have guessed! To think I wasted about an hour trying to make
that change! Not going to bother to ask why the Google Toolbar has that
effect.
Thank you very much!

because those are fields that Google toolbar can fill in for the viewer
