Wrong font used for HTML email

When replying to Text email, my reply defaults to Text format (which
seems reasonable), BUT when I override the format of my reply (by
selecting Format from menu and ticking HTML) the text of my reply (and
the original 'included' email) converts to Times New Roman, 10, NOT
the font I have selected for outgoing HTML messages

New/reply/forward works OK.

Settings:
Outlook 2000, Not using Word to edit, HTML, Ariel, 10 for Forward/
Reply/Text, "Always use my font", "Include original message text",

It converts from Plain Text to HTML so if your Plain Text display is
configured to be Times New Roman so will be the converted HTML format.

Thanks, but that is not it. I have all 3 of the fonts set as follows:

When composing a new message: 10 pt. Arial
When replying and forwarding: 10 pt. Arial
When composing and reading plain text: 10 pt. Arial

I have no idea where the Times New Roman is coming from, but I sure
would like to fix this.
