Wrong formatted Word-doc

I have a word-doc that is exported from a Crystal Report on Windows-platform. When i try to open it with Word for Mac it gets wrong formatted,all pictures and frames in the wrong place, but if I first open it in Word for Windows and then close it
it works fine with Word for Mac.

Have any one a clue about why ?

Not unless you are saving it from WinWord.

If you save it out of WinWord you would be setting a Type Code and Creator
Code that may cause ac Word to open it with different compatibility options.

Sorry... The question is too broad... Frames are anchored, but you have not
said what they are anchored to. You haven't even said why you are even
using frames.
